Vintage Masthead Oil Lamp Oval Glass Nautical Style Lamp

Up for sale is a vintage Masthead oil lamp. It has an oval glass globe. It appears to be a nautical style lamp.

I don't know the age or if the plate Masthead indicates the maker or a style? I think it is made from thin brass, or tin with a brass/bronze finish. It measures about 11.5" tall to the top of the handle and about 6" wide at the widest. The wick does extend and retract, but I have not tested this item.

There are imperfections, striations and inclusions in the glass, but no damage. I mainly sell used older items including antiques, collectibles and oddities so please expect some signs of wear from use.
