Vintage Early XXth Century Marine Blue Glass Kerosene Oil Lamp. Kerosene lamps were very common during first half of XXth century, when electricity distribution was not widespread to the countryside. There are some models of these lamps, however colored glass lamps are scarce, particularly this beautiful, rare and strong marine blue color. Craft production made in Portugal at Marinha Grande (a national reference). This lamp is very simple, made of marine blue glass with a classic pattern and round font. Both the burner and the glass chimney are new. No painted or coated glass. This is old stock from a closed factory. Height: 16 17/32 (42 cm). Weight: 26.45 oz (750 grams).
