FANCY CUT Glass WHALE Oil/Kerosene Lamp 1877 Burner withOld Piecrust Top Chimney

This is a Beautiful Cut Glass Whale OIL lamp in a 15 Panel pattern. It has a lattice pattern on the very top and around the bottom of the foot. The center of the font are 15 intricately cut panels. This lamp is made in one piece, not two like the new reproductions are.

This pattern of lamp was made in the middle of the 19th Century, 1840's to 1860's. It comes with a Brass Kerosene Burner, marked on the thumbscrew is= PAT. The burner unscrews easily and the collar is on securely. It does come with a cotton wick that has not been used.

This is a HAND BLOWN chimney, the top of the Chimney is HAND crimped and is missing some of the piecrust crimping and is a little uneven. This lamp is in excellent condition, no cracks, chips or repairs. I have taken pictures of ALL 4 SIDES so you could get a good look at it. = 19 tall to the top of the Chimney. = 10½ tall to the top of the collar. = 8" tall X 2¼" wide bottom fitter.

This lamp would be an excellent addition to any home, Victorian or Modern. A Great OIL LAMP to have when the lights go out!!
