It has a smooth bubble top shoulder, concave ribbed pattern font, high looped or jug ear applied handle, and the bottom of the lamp has a circular rayed pattern, good honest base wear. 1 fine line collar and burner are original to the lamp (collar has 7/8 threads). The zero size burner again is original to the lamp, and in excellent complete condition. The zero burner takes a 1 7/8" chimney (included), and the patent dates are as follows: "Pat. The small chimney I added on to the lamp is an antique old period chimney that looks good in proportion to the size of the lamp.
The lamp measures 3" high, base diameter is 3 ¼", and the top portion of the font is approximately 2 ¾ across. The antique period chimney is 5" tall, 1 7/8" lipped flange fitter size, and the bulge is approximately 2 ½ at its widest point. The lamp is in Excellent condition from top to bottom. No chips or cracks, burner is complete and the thumbwheel turns freely with the old original wick included. A wonderful little lamp I have had for many years and from my personal collection.Could also be classified in the miniature lamp category.
