Antique Illuminator Oil Lamp Shade Base 1867 Lipped #2 Burner Set Up THURO Owned

Antique illuminator lamp shade set-up, including eggshell delicate shade, clear glass flared lip base and flip-top brass burner with set screw. Burner is in very nice condition with original set screw and a working thumbwheel - 1867 patent date on thumbwheel. White glass shade has a chip to the fitter rim that will not affect use (see pic).

This is a fantastic opportunity to possess a shade set-up that was owned by the famous and well-loved Catherine Thuro. Shown in one pic as displayed on a 2-part lamp that also had been owned by Thuro - for display only - NO LAMP INCLUDED. Approximate measure me nts (may vary slightly). White shade - 6 7/8" base, 8" overall, 5 3/8 high.

Bottom rim - 2 5/8 outer diameter of flared lip. Top fitter - 7 3/8 outer diam. Please look closely at the pictures; they are part of the description. We are describing what we see but you are the expert.
