Antique Hanging Oil/Kerosene/GWTW Mt. Washington Lamp Dome Shade 14
Washington Shade from my collection. This is 14 wide at base. Approximately 6 1/4" tall, top opening is 6" wide at the widest. This is an antique not sure of the date of manufacture, came on a jeweled Meridian lamp I bought 15+ years ago. It is in shades of green and brown and white, nice smooth rolled edges top & bottom; it has a nice ring to it like fine Crystal/China when you thump it! Not sure of the flower design, it almost looks oriental to me, you be the judge! I have only cleaned it with a damp paper towel. It does have a number painted on the inside of the shade it is either 262 or 242. Overall, I feel this is in good to excellent condition for the age.
